David Marcus, former PayPal CEO thinks about this a lot. And he is betting that we will see AI agents who need to make payments without someone in the middle adopt the Bitcoin Lightning Network.

Due to the game theory of Bitcoin, most people want to keep the price low while obtaining as much as possible, so driving other areas without driving the price naturally make sense.
